IoT-hub

The interest concerning Internet of Things (IoT) has been continuously and rapidly growing over the last decade. A simple internet search regarding the term IoT returns more than 200 million results. A similar interest rise can be observed in the scientific community regarding research around IoT, leading to hundreds of research papers published and indexed in large databases. Though these databases offer a number of possibilities to users, a common issue in most of them, is that the access is restricted or limited. We believe that this implies the need for the creation of a database, where users can freely search through scientific publications regarding IoT, named “IoT-hub – A digital Library for IoT publications”. The user will be able to browse through the whole database or search the data for concrete results concerning an author/title/etc. and aggregated results specified from multiple records can be visualized in charts for better readability. Additionally, users can add records to the systems’ database, through the designed interface for importing information. Those records are then reviewed by an administrator and, if approved, are added to the database.
